Ideas for Annual Events

Build community, build buzz, build joy, build your business ... and have a heck of a lot of fun in the process. For each of these, one closed transaction will typically get you a 2-10x return on your investment & creates an opportunity to communicate, call, text, email, follow-up. Set your budget and get planning! Here are some ideas:

  • dance lessons in your driveway

  • vegetable gardening demonstration

  • annual property tax info session for your sphere and/or neighbors

  • organize annual neighborhood garage sale

  • movie night in your back yard

  • movie night in your neighbor's back yard

  • 3rd of July party (just to be different)

  • 3rd of July decorate kids bikes for 4th parade event

  • pumpkin carving contest

  • annual client appreciation party (spring? fall? folks are way too busy in December)

  • wine tasting

  • taco truck

  • beer truck

  • neighborhood pie contest

  • neighborhood Halloween potluck

  • winter coat drive

  • rent out a bar, or a portion

  • bring live music to your backyard

  • movie theatre rental

  • host a cooking lesson

  • craft day for kids

  • organize yard clean / tree trimming day for the n'hood & you sponsor the haul-away

  • sponsor a paper shred truck once a year

  • sponsor a school event every quarter

  • bring fresh fruit thank you to the school office or nurses station

  • chili cook-off

  • first day of school parents mimosas

  • start a neighborhood book club

  • start a neighborhood monthly front yard happy hour

It's endless. Engaged, fun, community involvement & leadership goes a long way in building & maintaining your real estate business. Each of these events creates an opportunity for you to communicate multiple multiple times with your invitees.
